Meet Halima Bashir, FNP-C

Halima Bashir is a Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in both primary and urgent care. Born in Somalia and raised in Clarkston, Georgia, she earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Georgia Perimeter College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Clayton State University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She is affiliated with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (UAPRN).

Halima chose healthcare because of her desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she values building relationships with her patients and helping them better understand and manage their health. She strives to provide compassionate, individualized careand believes that listening, education, and trust are essential to creating positive patient experiences.

Outside of work, Halima enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exercising, and working on home projects. As a wife and mother of five, family is an important part of her life. She also enjoys learning new things, exploring new places, and making memories with the people she loves.
