FAQ
Common questions about TB testing
Do you offer walk-in TB testing?
Yes. We provide TB skin tests on a walk-in basis at all 15 clinics, no appointment needed. Plan to return in 48 to 72 hours so a provider can read the result, which is required for it to count.
How long does TB testing take?
The test itself takes a few minutes. You'll need to come back 48 to 72 hours later for the reading. We schedule that return visit so your result stays valid for work, school, or travel.
Will I get documentation for work or school?
Yes. After we read your result, we provide signed documentation you can submit for a job, a nursing or school program, or travel. Bring any specific form your employer or school requires.
What if I can't return in 48 to 72 hours?
The reading must happen in that window or the test has to be repeated. If your schedule is tight, ask about a blood-based TB test (IGRA), which needs only one visit. We'll help you pick the right option.

Dr.Tara Brayboy was extremely nice, patient, and thorough in her examination. She had a great bedside manner and was the total opposite of my first experience at AllCare with another doctor in the greatest way.
