Meet Ian Rawluk, PA-C

Ian Rawluk, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant with experience in urgent care and a passion for providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. He grew up in Yorktown Heights, New York, and attended SUNY Geneseo before completingPhysician Assistant school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

Ian's interest in healthcare began at a young age, in part from frequently accompanying his elderly grandmother to doctor's appointments. He chose to become a Physician Assistant because the profession combines a broad medical education, a team-based approach to healthcare, and the ability to care for patients in many different clinical settings.

He is particularly drawn to primary and urgent care because they allow him to use his broad medical training rather than focusing on a single body system. He enjoys the variety of patient cases he encounters and finds it especially rewarding to follow patients through their care and see how they benefit from treatment. One of his favorite procedures is treating closed reduction of radial head subluxation (commonly known as "nursemaid's elbow') in young children, where he can often see a child go from being in pain to smiling and comfortable within minutes.

Outside of work, Ian enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, following the NewYork Jets, watching Seinfeld reruns, and spending time with friends. He also enjoys spending time with his rescue dog, Chloe, whom he rescued in 2019.
