Meet Latera Terry, PA-C

Latera Terry, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant who is passionateabout delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. She earned herbachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University beforecompleting her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies atMercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. Latera has experience in emergencymedicine, internal medicine, primary care, and urgent care, allowing her tocare for patients with a wide variety of healthcare needs.

She chose to become a Physician Assistant because it offered theopportunity to combine science, critical thinking, and compassionate care whilebuilding meaningful relationships with patients. She is especially passionateabout primary care because it allows her to focus on prevention, earlyintervention, and overall wellness. She enjoys helping patients of all agesbetter understand their health and manage both acute and chronic conditions toimprove their long-term well-being.

For Latera, the most rewarding part of practicing medicine is seeingpatients leave feeling healthier, more confident, and better informed abouttheir health. She strives to create an environment where patients feel heard,supported, and empowered to take an active role in their care.

Outside of work, Latera enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, andspending time with her family. A proud wife and mother of three, she creditsher family as her greatest source of inspiration and motivation, encouragingher to continue growing both personally and professionally.
